blue marlin 200 lbs
Today all the boats had lots of action.
The Blue Marlin 3 found this morning a big school with dorado's, but these fishes were not interested in the plastic lures.
The Cavalier had some more luck and caught some of these dorado's.
The White Marlin hooked up this morning a blue marlin.
After a fight of 35 minutes they lost the fish 20 meters behind the deck. Bad luck.
On the second trip of this boat they hooked up again. It was on the 80 lbs rod from the Dutch angler Theo Verouden.
Theo needed 30 minutes to fight his marlin to the boat.
This time it was `bad luck` for this only 200 lbs weighting blue marlin, because it was hooked up in one of the eyes, so the crew had to kill the fish.
Nevertheless I like to congratulate angler Theo Verouden and the crew of the White Marlin with the catch of this blue marlin.
