HAMMERHEAD SHARK

After a day of rest, we had today a `great October start.

On the Blue Marlin 3 there has been caught some good sized common and roughtail stingrays.
Angler Rens Berkelaar from Holland, but also Lloyd Rattray caught both a ray with a weight of 50 and 120 pounds.
On board today also Guy Orsler & friends.
Also they caught some nice Common Stingrays and a Barracuda.

The White Marlin made the choice today to go fishing on the deeper reef in front of Pasito Blanco.
The fishermen aboard this boat caught manny Comber, Seabreams, Snappers, Moray and Amberjack.

From the three boats, it was the Cavalier who won today the `light tackle trophy`.
It was Hafid himself who starts this morning on only 20 lb tackle a fight with a 81 pounds Hammerhead Shark.
It took about 20 minutes to land this fish on a leader and swivel with a tension of only 40 lb.

On the pictures besides of this Latest News you can see captain Abraham who brings very patience this beautiful fish to the boat.
After the photo-session the crew released the fish again.
Well done and congratulations again.

Also Sebastian Wilders from Holland and David Mitchell from Glasgow had a 'super` fishingday.
They caught both some good sized rays, 2 Baracuda's and an Atlantic Bonito.
