Big Game Tournaments

In Gran Canaria, 4 big game tournaments are fished every year.
During these tournament days, fishing is done by boat with a maximum of 6 anglers.

In the first week of July, the Corona Cup is fought in Puerto Rico.
This competition is between the 3 boats Cavalier, Blue Marlin 3 and Fish On fished.
There are 2 days of trolling for Blue and White Marlin, Spearfish, all Tuna species, Dorado and Wahoo
Fishing times are from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

The Puerto Rico Tournament is fished annually in the third or fourth week of July.
Based on previous years, 15 to 20 sport fishing boats will participate in this Big Game tournament.
There will be 2 days trolling for Blue and White Marlin, Spearfish all Tuna species, Dorado and Wahoo
The fishing times are from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The Pasito Blanco Tournament is fished in the fourth week of August.
Based on previous years, 30 to 35 sport fishing boats will participate in this Big Game tournament.
2 days of trolling for Blue and White Marlin, Spearfish all Tuna species.
The fishing times are from 9.15 am to 5.15 pm.

The Las Palmas Tournament will be fished in the second week of October.
Based on previous years, 10 to 15 sport fishing boats will participate in this Big Game tournament.
There will be 2 days trolling for Blue and White Marlin, Spearfish, all Tuna species, Dorado and Wahoo
The fishing times are from 9 am to 5 pm. (subject to change)

All 4 tournaments will be concluded after the last day of fishing with a dinner for all participants plus their crew followed by the award ceremony.
We have also 3* apartments available at a 5 minute walk from our sport fishing boats.
