In Gran Canaria, 3 big game tournaments are fished every year.
During these tournament days, a maximum of 8 fishermen are fished by boat.
In the first week of July, Puerto Rico competes for the Corona Cup.
This match is fished between the boats Cavalier, Blue Marlin 3 and Fish On.
There are 2 days trolling for Blue and White Marlin, Spearfish, all Tuna species, Dorado and Wahoo
The fishing times are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Puerto Rico Tournament is fished annually in the third or fourth week of July.
Based on previous years, 20 to 25 sport fishing boats will participate in this Big Game tournament.
During this tournament, there will be trolling only for Blue and White Marlin, Spearfish and all Tuna species.
The fishing times are from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm.
The Pasito Blanco Tournament will be fished in the fourth week of August.
Based on previous years, 30 to 35 sport fishing boats will participate in this Big Game tournament.
During this tournament, there is only trolling for Blue and White Marlin, Spearfish and all Tuna species .
The fishing times are from 9.15 am to 5.15 pm.
