180 KILO BLUE MARLIN TAGGED AND RELEASED

It was this morning the boat EXPLORAMAR who had, only 15 minutes away from the harbour of Morro Jable (Fuerteventura), a double header with 2 Blue Marlins.

So Erik van Egmond from Holland, who is fishing with us, on the EXPLORAMAR, this week the Gran Tarrajal Big Game Tournament, had a good start.

Unfortunately the first of the two Blue Marlins took some beautiful jumps and was gone again.
The second one, estimated by the crew at 180 kilo, was for Erik a very good warming up.
The Blue Marlin has been tagged and released !!
Well done folks!

I like to wish Erik and crew good luck and tight lines in the tournament!

Here in Gran Canaria the boat CAVALIER was trolling and also here the clients onboard hooked in, at 11 am, with a Blue Marlin. Unfortunately because also this fish has been lost.
Bad luck boys, but tomorrow we will try it again!

Hans
