1st Blue Marlin of 2021 released

Another day in Paradise.
Wooow what a fishing day.

This morning around 10 o`clock we hooked up with a large Wahoo which had been caught by an Italian angler.

The following three hours it was mainly enjoying the large schools of dolphins and the many hunting gulls which provided a great show.

At 1.15 pm we had another strike.
The very first Blue Marlin of 2021 had caught the lure of .............. yes, angler Peter Zeestraten from Holland

Peter, who also caught 400 kilos of Bluefin tuna and a heavy Wahoo this week, was now allowed to catch the first Blue Marlin of 2021.

It took Peter about 25 minutes to fish this first fantastic beautiful sport fish, with an estimated weight of about 300lb, next to the boat, followed by a nice release.

Great Peter with this supet result and of course also the crew of the Cavalier which has not only caught and released the first Bluefin tuna but now also the first Blue Marlin of 2021.
