2-2 Albacore / 1-2 Big Eye Tuna

Today again a fantastic fishing day for the crew of the Cavalier together with angler Klaas Westerhof.

Quite quickly many hundreds of hunting seagulls were found this morning, which of course indicated the presence of large schools of tuna.

After two hours of trolling fishing we hooked up. It became a double strike.
Klaas went into battle with what turned out to be a 30 kilos bigeye tuna.
I took the 2nd rod, which 10 minutes later resulted in the catch of a beautiful Albacore.
Because the quota of the Albacore tuna is full, means that we have released this fish again.

Barely 10 minutes later Klaas hooked, caught and released also a nice Albacore tuna

A 4th bite of probably a second bigeye tuna was unfortunately lost.

All in all, another successful fishing trip for Klaas, who will start tomorrow his last fishing day, before he is flying back to Holland this week Sunday.
