2 Blue Marlin

Today was an Ascension Day with plenty of activity.
We received again several fishing reports.
2 Dorado's were caught on the White Marlin boat and also the boat Star You caught today a nice big Dorado.

The boat Fish On reported the catch and release of a Blue Marlin.

Yes and then the Cavalier.
Where is their luck?
The first bite came around 11 am.
A Blue Marlin took the lure of `again` Peter Heineken's fishing rod.
But even before Peter was sitting in the fighting chair, and after a run of 100 meters, his marlin spit the hook.
Very bad luck Peter.

One hour later another strike. Now it was the rod of Peter van Dijk.
Peter, who is already fishing many years on the Cavalier, could now finally catch his own first Blue Marlin.
Or .........?

After 10 minutes of hard work and with his Blue Marlin nearly besides the boat, escaped also his dream fish.

Disappointed faces were at 3 p.m the end result of a very exciting fishing day.

Tomorrow we have another chance!
