225 kg Blue Marlin

225 KILOS / 500 LBS BLUE MARLIN

It was the German angler Heiner Engelbert, who caught last Tuesday, on his 1st fishing day with us a NEW record for the Wahoo.
This morning, on his 3rd fishing trip, Heiner tagged and released also a Blue Marlin.

Heiner fished his 3 fishing trips on board of the boat CAVALIER.
Today he hooked in at 13.30 pm and needed about 30 minutes to bring his Blue Marlin besides the boat.
After the photo session ,the crew have released this Blue Marlin again.
The fish was estimated at a weight of 225 kg/500 lbs.
I like to congratulate Heiner and the crew of the CAVALIER again, with the release of this fish.

It was the Dutch angler Freek Morees who was today very close to catch another Blue Marlin.
Unfortunately, because this fish has been lost.
