24/03/2023 - 1st Bluefin tuna.

In our previous Latest News you have already read that, the Bigeye and the Bluefin tuna's, are swimming around in the Canary waters again.

After several attempts with, lures and live bait, we were finally succesfull today.

The very first Bluefin tuna of 2023 has been released again, in the name of the boat Cavalier.

None less than angler Klaas Westerhof from Holland managed to fish this super fighter next to the boat.
With an estimated weight of about 700 lb, the fish could be released again in good condition.

Congratulations again boys, with this great result.
