24th Bluefin tuna + 1 Wahoo

Today we had Peter Zeestraten back on board the Cavalier.
Peter, better known to many as `Peter Heineken`, stepped on board this morning in good spirits, in search of his dream fish.

And what a luck, because of the 6 rods / lines that were set out, it was precisely his rod that got the first bite.
And 5 minutes later there was a nice big Wahoo in the boat.

Only 5 minutes later we had another hook-up and it was again Peter's fishing rod.
This fish soon turned out to be a lot bigger than this morning's Wahoo.

After almost three hours, Peter was finally able to photograph his catch. It was a Bluefin tuna weighing more than 400 kilos.

It became Peter's second Bluefin [last year he caught his first].
For the boat Cavalier, this catch became the 24th Bluefin tuna of the 2021 season.
