250 lbs ............ Cavalier & Blue Marlin Sport Fishing Gran Canaria

Today, after an absence of more than 2 years, we had Danny Bernard on board the Cavalier.
Despite the good catches on the bottom and on the reef, Danny still preferred to go trolling on his booked full charter.

It turned out to be the right decision.
Trolling, with a previously caught Atlantic Bonito, unfortunately a nice large Wahoo was missed.
A second bite was successful, but...........

All shark species (Thresher shark, Mako shark, Blue shark, Hammerhead shark...etc) are protected here in Gran Canaria, so fishing is no longer allowed.

So I can only tell you that the fight lasted 20 minutes and that the catch was released neatly.
Posting a photo of the fish is unfortunately not possible.
