26/7 - 550lbs Blue Marlin

The previous days, the fishing boats mainly caught skipjack tuna.
The boat Cavalier fortunately changed that this morning.

The Dutch angler Johan van der Meer caught the fish of his life here on board.
After a nice and sporty fight he was finally the winner of a big blue marlin.
This was estimated by the crew to weigh no less than 250 kilos.

After taking the pictures the marlin could be released again.
