Today was the first day of the annual Puerto Rico Big Game Tournement here in the south of Gran Canaria.

The 15 participating boats unfortunately got no further than a very disappointing catch of only one blue marlin.

However, several boats reported missed bites.

Tomorrow the second and last tournament day will be fished.
We can only hope that this one is at least a lot more successful.
