280 KG BLUE MARLIN ON 30 LBS LINE
425 KG BLUE MARLIN RELEASED

Today the boats CAVALIER and EXPLORAMAR had both `great` catches.

On the CAVALIER we had `Lucky Martin` from the United Kingdom back for his 3rd charter.
Martin released on the 5th a Spearfish and a White Marlin on the 7th of August.

Today, the 11th, he hooked up again ON 30 LBS LINE
Martin fished STAND UP and together with the experienced crew Abraham and Hafed, he brought the Blue Marlin IN ONLY 25 MINUTES besides the boat.
The fish has been estimated by the crew at 280 kilos. Woooooooooow Well done Mark!!!!!

The CAVALIER is the now the ONLY and FIRST charter boat in Gran Canaria which caught 3 Blue Marlins on ONLY 30 LBS LINE.

Roland Spierings had booked this morning, together with his wife Margreet, a full charter on the boat EXPLORAMAR.
And also he will never forget this fishingtrip.

Roland hooked up at 12.10 p.m.
A giant Blue Marlin had taken the lure from the left outrigger.
The fish took a 500 à 600 meters run and showed us some from his beautiful jumps.

Now it was Rolands turn!!!
He needed only 80 minutes to fish this Blue Marlin behind the deck of the boat.
Well done Roland, your a great fisherman.

Rolands fish has been estimated by the crew at a weight of 400 à 425 kilos.

On the afternoon trip their has been caught by the 4 Dutch fishermen 5 Red Snappers and an Amberjack.
