2nd Bluefin tuna 2023

The Bluefin Tuna, huge powerhouses with weights between 200 and 400 kilos, which are not so easy to catch.

The enormous performance kick that an angler gets after catching more than 1000 servings of sashimi will be obvious.

Two days ago a Bluefin tuna just outsmarted us and left the fisherman with an empty reel.

Today, Thursday 30/3, it was again a Hook up on board the Cavalier.
Around 10.30 am the first fisherman was able to take his place in the fighting chair.

After a fight of 2 hours and 30 minutes, this second Bluefin tuna of 2023 finally surrendered.
After the photo session this fish was also released in good condition.
The tuna was estimated to weigh more then 300 kilos

Congratulations again to Hafid and Abraham, the crew of the Cavalier, and of course the angler.
