300 & 550 lbs Blue Marlin Released

After the release today of 2 Blue Marlins and 1 missed bite, I can safely write that the Marlins are back in the waters of Gran Canaria.

On board today Geoff Williams from the UK who had the time of his life.

It started early this morning. A double strike resulted in the catch and release of an estimated 300 lbs Blue Marlin.
The second unfortunately managed to get off his hook after some very spectacular jumps.

Only one hour later we were able to release a second Blue Marlin.
This one was estimated by the crew of the Cavalier to weigh 550 lbs.

While I am writing this Latest News, the boat has just started its second fishing trip for the day.
So who knows what else will happen?
