4 BLUE MARLINS

It was the boat EXPLORAMAR who had today 4 contacts with Blue Marlin.

The clients on board were Phillip, his wife and daughter from England, together with his sister Deb and partner Andrea who live here in Gran Canaria.

At 10.30 the first contact of the day came behind lure and broke elastic, but didn't do much else other than swim away.

The second contact came at 11.30.
Andrea was in the chair fighting the Blue Marlin for 30 minutes, but the fish did not have the hook in its mouth it was only hooked around its bill.
This Blue Marlin was only 20 meters away from the boat when the fish thrashed and the hook slipped of its bill.

The third contact came at 1.15.
This time it was Phillip's turn in the chair. He fought the fish for 35 minutos, and again it spat out the hook when it was 50 meters behind the boat.

A fourth contact was made shortly, but Billy was not certain what the fish was, because it was very quickly lost and he didn't see any jumping.

The clients are back again on Tuesday morning for another try.
