42kg, 1.3m Jewfish in Australia

Jackson Pettigrew, 25, and his younger brother Isaac, 21, caught the monster-sized fish off Juno Point on Sunday after a long struggle in choppy conditions.

Jewfish of this size are rare and could be as much as 30 years old.

The young men were fishing from their 4m fibreglass boat just off Juno Point - a notrious hot spot for jewfish - not far from the mouth of the Hawkesbury River.
