Since 1986 I`m a regular visitor of the island Gran Canaria
It was the sport fishing that me and my family decided in 1993 to immigrate to this beautiful island.
A sport fishing boat was bought and the challenge could begin.
From the first day I have released all Blue and White Marlin, Spearfish and all species of Rays and Sharks.
After a quick photo shoot from the proud angler I have released the most fish in a good condition.
To let our clients know that we promoted the catch and release, we changed in 2005 the name of our website (www.bluemarlin3.com) into the name www.releaseme.info. (also the old url is still working)
Now in 2015, the law has been finally changed and it is no longer allowed to fish for Sharks and Rays.
Also, all Blue and White Marlin and Spearfish should be released immediately.
The above amendment will bring to us no change, but I do decide to delete all capture photos of Sharks and Rays of our website.
