AGAIN A NEW RECORD FISH !!!!

Sometimes fishing can be a strange sport!!!

Yesterday, the boat CAVALIER broke the record weight of the Angelshark.
Today the boat EXPLORAMAR did the same with the weight of the Blue fish.

Fourteen years ago, on 01/01/1996, we started on our website a list with the heaviest fishes which were caught by our clients.

During the first years, it was quiet easy to renew one or more of these fishes on this list.
But mostly `you` was a `new` recordholder for only 2 or 3 month, before another fisherman caught a heavier one.

But now, after 14 years, it isn't so easy to renew one of the records on this list.

The record of the Blue fish stood since December 2002, with a weight of 8.650 gram/19.1 lbs on name of the Danish angler K.B.Boesen.
This morning it was on the EXPLORAMAR the English lady Sophie Revett from Essex who caught a Blue fish weigthing 11.550 grams/25.5 lbs.

Congratulations again Sophie and welcome on our list with the best Gran Canaria fishermen.

That there are still more `big ones` swimming around proved this morning the anglers on the boat CAVALIER.

Michel Regeling caught here a very nice Tope (Hall of Fame) and the Dutch angler Hans van Dam caught a good sized North Atlantic Bonito.

There are good fishing days and sometimes bad ones. You always need a little luck.

Tomorrow we will try it again.
