As our regular customers already know and as can be read on this web site, the Blue Marlin 3 supports catch and release as well as tag and release for a 100%.

This goes for all billfish we catch. Should the poor thing die an unfortunate death, then so be it...

Owing to this support Blue Marlin 3 has been certified by the Billfish Foundation numerous times.

In all the years that I`ve been big game fishing I had to take three blue marlins to the harbour! They died at the afterdeck. Fortunately, the many others that were caught are enjoying their freedom.

Since May 2005 I have some problems with my health and it is now impossible for me to go fishing like before, 6 days a week.

Because I`m a sportfisher with my whole heart and sole, I`m doing still my work on this website with the daily updates from this News and the Photo Albums.

Since April 2007 I`m doing also this job for the boats Cavalier and the White Marlin. I let you also know on this website, their news and latest fishing results.

That the crew from those boats has another opinion about `catch and release` is of course their own right.
I try and have been tried before to change their minds. And believe me, that's not an easy job !!!!

So sure you will see, in the future on this website more photo's from `dead` billfish.

But I promise you that I will fight to save and protect all the bilfish.
