This week Friday and Saturday, July 28 & 29, we are fishing here in the South of Gran Canaria the 32st Edition of the Puerto Rico Big Game Tournement.
The participants, mostly between 30 and 40 fishing boats, are fishing for Blue & White Marlin, Spearfish and different species of Tuna.
The big game season in Gran Canaria had a slow start this year, but since a few days the Blue Marlin is back again. [ 7 releases and different lost during the last 3 days ]
There is again also lots of baitfish like mackarel.
So it seems to be a great tournement.
