Billfish explosion in the South of Gran Canaria

Where do they suddenly all come from ?

Last week there has been caught plenty of billfish (blue and white marlins and spear fish) ?
The Cavalier caught in 5th consecutive fishing days 6 marlins !

This morning was a Blue Marlin caught by the Swedisch angler Michael Larsson who needed half an hour to land an estimated 160 kg Blue Marlin.

As I write this I get just a message from the crew of the Cavalier that they have released a White Marlin. Whoooowwwww !

Also the private boats did very well today and caught and released also various billfish.
A highlight was undoubtedly the boat Black Marlin which had no less than 3 Blue and 1 White Marlin released
