Due to a visit with my grandson of the football match Barcelona - Ajax you have missed our `Latest News` on this page.
In Camp Nou happened a lot, but that was also here in Gran Canaria.

After, last tuesday, a quiet day of fishing at the bottom the Cavalier hooked up on the way in to the harbour with ...........?
At 80 meters of water was assumed that it was a Wahoo.
But the lure of the 50 lbs Shimano rod was gripped by a beautiful big Blue Marlin !!!!!!
Since none of the anglers wanted to reel in this giant fish the work has been done by the crew Hafid.
He fished 'stand-up` about 60 minutes after the estimated 500 lbs Blue Marlin could be released.

Yesterday we had Erik Bouwmeester along with his wife and father aboard the Cavalier.
They caught some good sized Snappers and Barracuda's. Furthermore lots of small reef fishes.
On the way back to the harbor we had 3 Wahoo bites which unfortunately were all lost.
