Blue Marlin Released

BLUE MARLIN RELEASED


The last days were many nice big Dorado and Skipjacks caught, both of which belong to the best bait of the Blue and White Marlin.

The lines were this morning only 30 minutes in the water, when a huge Blue Marlin took the lure on the .port side rigger, followed by the screaming noise of the Shimano reel.

It was the rod of the Dutch angler Gerrit Steenstra who took directly his place in the fighting chair.
While the other lines were pulled in the fight could start between Gerrit and the Blue Marlin.

After a hard job of 50 minutes was our angler Steenstra the happy winner.
The large marlin was estimated by the crew about 200/220 kilos, and has been released again after taking the necessary pictures.

I would like to congratulate the crew and Gerrit again with this great catch and of course with the release of this marlin.
