CAVALIER RELEASED 2 BLUE MARLINS

It seems that the end of the trolling season is coming closer now?
Of course the possibility is still there to catch a blue or white marlin, but..........?

The CAVALIER was chartered today by Roger Tomren from Norway who enjoyed, together with 3 other family members, a day fishing with us.

It was still many years Rogers dream to catch a Blue Marlin, so he decided to go for the trolling fishing.

At 11.10 a.m Rogers dream came true when a very heavy Blue took the lure of the starboard outrigger.
Roger needed 25 minutes to fish his 1st Blue Marlin ever behind the deck of the boat.
It was a `monster` which has been estimated by the crew at a weight of 375 kg / 825 lbs.
Of course we released this beauty !!!!!!!!

At 13.15 hrs a 2nd Blue Marlin showed up behind the lures, followed 5 seconds later by a a 200 meters run on the short rigger.
This Blue Marlin, which was half size of the first one, showed us really some of her most beautiful jumps.
And only 20 minutes later Roger released also his second Blue Marlin.

Roger Tomren can look backwards on a great and very successful fishing day onboard of the boat CAVALIER.
