Cavalier released 230 kg Blue Marlin

Jan, a beginner in the big game fishing world, was his third day aboard the Cavalier. Around 14:15 p.m we had a bite of a Blue Marlin.

A Blue Marlin plunged with full force on the lure of Jan his rod and the screeching sound of the Shimano reel was the sign that the struggle could start now.

Jan needed 35 minutes to bring his dream fish behind the boat, which was estimated by the crew at a weight of 230 kilograms.
The blue marlin has been released.
