DORADO & WAHOO


It seems that the Blue and White Marlins this year passed our beautiful island Gran Canaria.
The catches for these species are at the moment very slow.
But you never know what happens during the coming months?

But we should definitely not complaining, because the catches last week, were very successful.
There has been caught during the trolling, by both boats, lots of Wahoo's, some Yellowfin Tuna and Dorado's.
Also with the reef fishing were caught some very good sized Rays, Snappers and Barracuda's.


On the CAVALIER was caught a big Dorado by REmco Verhaar from Holland.
When we cleaned this fish on the pier we found 5 garfish into his stomach.

Freek Morees fished this morning on the Exploramar and he hooked in with an 18 kilo Wahoo.
For captan Billy was this Wahoo nr. 5 in 3 fishing trips.
There were caught on the afternoon trip some Barracuda's and there has been released a big Tope.
