Fase 1 Cavalier & Blue Marlin Sport Fishing Gran Canaria

Dear Anglers & Friends

As many of you have undoubtedly heard in the media, Spain is divided into 4 Phases.

Phase 0 from 04/05/2020 - 10/05/2020
Phase 1 from 11/05/2020 - 25/05/2020
Phase 2 from 25/05/2020 - 08/06/2020
Phase 3 from 08/06/2020 - 22/06/2020

In each phase, residents are given a little more freedom and several companies are opened again.
For example, today 11/05, hotels and terraces may already opened be 50%

With effect from Phase 2 (25/05), the Sport fishing boats may also sail again with a maximum occupancy of 50%.
This would mean that from that date it is allowed to fish with 5 passengers.

But the most important thing of course all Canary companies are waiting for are the inbound flights.
There are rumors that the first flights are only possible again from September or October.
If so, it will be a disaster for the Canary tourist industry.
More positive comments say that the first inbound flights will be possible again from July.

To date, this is unfortunately still a big question mark for everyone and we will probably only get the answer from the Spanish government at the end of Phase 3.

We assume that all anglers who have already made a reservation in the period 1 to 21 June can NOT come. Please let me know if I`m wrong ?

We are very much looking forward to receiving you all on board as soon as possible.
