Mystery fish caught ? Cavalier & Blue Marlin Sport Fishing Gran Canaria

Referee Steve Tedro-Lyons and his father-in-law, David Jones, caught a fish that has left them scratching their heads.

At first glance the fishermen thought it may have been a leatherjacket, however it had no spike.

Mr Jones said the fish had a leathery type of skin rather than scales.
The fish was caught with a mullet bait.

If you know what species of fish this is, leave a message?
