New Record `Skipjack Tuna` - 11.500 gram / 25.4 lbs

After three days of heavy rainfall we could this morning finally start our second fishing trip of the week.
The wind was fortunately quite a bit less, and most anglers on board had no problems with the final aftermath of the storm.
Both,on the surface and above the reef, we did some nice catches.
We caught some Combers, one Atlantic Bonito, one Baracuda, one Scorpion fish, one Amberjack and also a `NEW RECORD` for the Skipjack Tuna.
Mika Ruotsalainen, for many years a respected customer of Blue Marlin Fishing Charters, hooked in and caught this morning an 11 kilos and 500 grams. (25.4 lbs) Skipjack Tuna.
He destroyed with his catch the standing record of Dutchman Edwin Gijsbers, which since 15/6/2010 hold our recordlist with a fish of 8.250 grams.
