PLENTY OF ACTION

Today some fishing trips with plenty of action.

The boat White Marlin had chosen today for the bottom fishing and caught many nice stingrays.

The Blue Marlin 3 was trolling and had this morning at approximately 10.30 o`clock a white marlin behind the lures, but what was tried by the crew, the marlin showed no further interest.

When the boat already headed to the harbor,they hooked up at 14.15 o`clock a blue marlin.
He came on the rod of Daniel Syder, a young lad. It was not possible for him to fight this monster so his companion Duncan Adams took to the fighting chair.
After spending a while with the rod and line it was passed to Kees Gillesen who eventually got the fish to the boat.

Bad luck, because the nylon leader was turned around the tail of the fish, so this beauty died behind the deck.

Later in the harbor the weight of the fish seemed 270 kilograms too be.
The profit of the fish will be donated.

I like to congratulate Daniël, Duncan and Kees again with this nice capture and hopefully we can release the next again normally.
Shit things happens.

I was today a guest on the boat Cavalier and also here plenty of activity.
It was at 10.00 a.m, when the fisher Beverly Smet from Belgium had a hook up from a blue marlin on his 80 lbs rod.
The fight with this fish took about 20 minutes.

With the leader in one hand and the tag stick in the other, we lost the fish less than 5 meters behind the deck.

Very, very bad luck Beverly, but.......you have another fishing trip booked on friday, so you never know ?
