Puerto Rico - 20.30 o`clock
12 BLUE MARLIN HOOKED UP

It's nearly sure that the 14th of August 2007 becomes a special place in the big game archives of Puerto Rico.

Today there were a total of 12 blue marlins hooked up by only 7 sport-fishing boats.

4 of these marlins were lost directly, another 4 were tagged and released and the last 4 were brought to the harbour.

Also the blue marlin, who was caught today on the Cavalier, was one of these last 4 marlins.

Like yesterday, this boat hooked up their fish at 14.00 o`clock in only 100 metres of water.

The giant blue marlin starts jumping directly and was in no time tangled in his own line.
It was too late to release this fish and it died behind the afterdeck.
The weight of this giant was 343 kg / 757 lb.

The english angler Alan, manny fishermen knows him as `Rimbo`, was very disappointed.
Alan released in the past still manny marlins

It's really shit for you Rimbo, but now you see that it can happens also by the best ones.

The German angler Heinrich Burkhard, caught today on the White Marlin a good sized dorado.

The Blue Marlin 3 fished on the reef and caught some different species of rays.
