R.I.P Cavalier & Blue Marlin Sport Fishing Gran Canaria

Today, unfortunately bad news for the `real` anglers.

The last two weeks we caught here in the south of Gran Canaria lots of White and Blue Marlins.
Every day at 15 pm, when the charter boats returns to the harbor, it is therefore very busy on the quay wall.
These are usually relatives and friends from the fishermen on the fishing boats.

Why the boats are not releasing their marlins? , is nearly daily the most frequently asked question!
I can't give them the answer.!

During the last 10 fishing days, are just by 4 charter boats from (port) Puerto Base, 3 Blue and 5 White Marlins taken to the harbor. !!!!!!
Only the boats CAVALIER and Reel Time released all their billfish !!!!!

Entangled in the line is then the most made remark.

Dear fishermen, please think before you book a place on board of a charter boat.

I assume that also our children still want to fish!
