SIERRA TUNA

The Sierra Tuna is back on the reef.
Different clients on the Exploramar caught during the last days, with live bait and spinners, some of these hard fighting Tunas.

The Sierra Tuna, also called North Atlantic Bonito, is a strong fighting fish between the 4 and 15 lbs.
The best months to catch these Sierra's here in Gran Canaria are October till April.

Also the catches from heavy Rays are good at this time of the year.
Rob van Rijswijk from Holland caught this morning a good sized Roughtail and a very heavy Common Stingray (Photo of the Day)

Congratulations also to the anglers Croon, Wim van den Berk, Bert Vos and Wim van Schaik and friends.
Also these fishermen caught one or more good sized ones.

Hans
