SPEARFISH

Today it was for our English client and good friend Martin his 1st of 4 booked Full Charters on the boat CAVALIER.

Martin, who caught and released last year, together with his daughter, some nice billfish, made again on this 1st trip a good start.

He brought with a 50 lb stand-up rod at 10 a.m a good sized Spearfish behind the deck.
Well done Marlin and bad luck that this Spearfish,was the only billfish, which turned up for you.

The EXPLORAMAR was booked this morning as a Part Charter.
Here on board Erik and Rick, Jos van Loo and Roland Spierings, all from Holland.

These 4 fishermen were trolling with 4 - 80 lb rods, 4 - 50 lb rods and 1 - 130 lb rod.

So each angler was fishing with 1 - 80 lb and 1 -50 lb rod and 25% of this trip with the 130 lb rod.

We heard on the board radio that some of the other sportfishing boats were successful with fighting some billfish.

Unfortunately, because we couldn't find any of these marlins today.
But with the catch of some very big and heavy Skipjacks our clients still enjoyed this trip.
