SPEARFISH LOST

This morning we had Ingo Haake from Denmark back on board of the CAVALIER for his 4th and last charter with us.
The boats left this morning from the harbor with a strong wind, the ideal weather to catch Wahoo or maybe Spearfish?

And it was NEARLY a Spearfish !!

At about 12 hrs Ingo hooked in, with for the CAVALIER, the 1st Billfish of 2011.
A Spearfish had taken the lure from the starboard rigger.
Unfortunately, because after a small run and some beautiful jumps, Ingo's dreamfish spit out the hook again.

Sometimes it is a hard life Ingo, to be a fisherman !!!

The EXPLORAMAR was booked this morning as a Part Charter.
The crew starts the first hours of this trip with the trolling but also here without success.
So the clients decided to fish the last 2 hours on the reef.
Here they caught lots of 1 till 2 pounds Snappers. Ali caught a 20 kilo Stingray and a 17 kilo Tope has been caught by Rob Wise.
