Today, it was Leon de Weger from Holland who caught a new boat record for the north atlantic bonito. The weight of his fish was 7.850 gram - 17.3 lbs.

The `old record` was since January 2006 on name of the Danish fisher J.Nielausen with a weight of 6.250 gram - 13.8 lbs.
