Tuna Explosión - part 2

You can ask it in Gran Canaria, the oldest professional fishermen, but even they have to think far back in time.


Also today was for all fishermen on both, professional and recreational boats, a day never to forget.


For the south coast of Gran Canaria swim large schools of tuna as never before.
The tens of thousands of tunas, mainly Alba Cores, or Nortes, as they are called here in Gran Canaria , feed on the large schools of mackerels and sardines.
This whole spectacle is also  enhanced by  many hundreds of dolphins and whales.

The fishermen onboard of the boat Cavalier caught today 14 Albacores.
