Wahoo & Dorado

This morning was the boat Cavalier booked as a Full Charter.
Unfortunately we had a quiet fishing trip without any activity of fish.

More luck for the anglers onboard of the second trip.
After that the Cavalier had left the port for their second trip they hooked in with a Wahoo.
After that the fish had taken about 20 meters of line she spit out the hook again.

But the courage was there !
Especially when the Englishman Paul Wood was successful by catching a more than 20 kilo Wahoo.

Half an hour later it happened again. It was now the rod of Reece Easton from Scotland which had a bite. It proved to be a big Dorado.

Seeing some Hammerhead Sharks made this trip complete.
This species are protected in the Canaries, so we could just watching.
