Who knows tomorrow will be our turn? Cavalier & Blue Marlin Sport Fishing Gran Canaria

Today, Wednesday, May 13th, I must unfortunately report that we are still waiting of the catch of the 1st Blue Marlin of 2015

Yesterday it was Ola Ludvigsson of Sweden which with some family members and friends had chartered the boat Cavalier.
Hardly we had the lines in the water when the crew saw an estimated 250 to 300 kilo Blue Marlin behind the lures.
The fish, which showed no interest, came a little later even along starboard side and disappeared again into the depths.

Today on the Cavalier even a bite on one of the outrigger lures, ....... a run of 40 meters .... and gone. Also on this fishing trip no further activity.

On one of the other charter boats has been reported a double strike of Bluefin Tuna
One fish was lost, but the second was hooked well.
It was a Scottish fisherman who tagged and released an estimated 200 kilos
Bluefin Tuna .

Who knows tomorrow will be our turn?
