World's largest shark ever caught

We have all heard the big fish tales, but unless we see it, we cannot confirm it. Because there are so many different ways to catch a shark we have laid out several different examples of the world’s biggest shark.

World’s largest shark ever pulled out of the ocean, came from Pakistan, where they craned a Whale Shark out of the water.
Before we start the run down of the world’s largest shark ever caught here is an image of the unofficial largest shark in the world.

Although data still needs to officially be checked, this large great white shark caught off Phillip Island weighs an amazing 5,085 lb, making it possibly the biggest shark ever caught.
