From 14 to the 16th of November, there has been fished the 4th Xzoga Rubicon Record Jigging tournament. .
The winners of this jigging tournament were the crew members of the boat Greca .

The purpose of this tournament is to show the anglers around the world that the island Lanzarote ( Spain ) belongs to one of the better fish destinations.

In the Individual ranking was the toughest Amberjack caught by Martin Mendoza Imobach weighing 6900 grams .(medregal)
Ricardo Gonzalez Duran captured in this category the heaviest Wreck Bass 7100 grams. (Merro)
The heaviest Sama of 6250 grams was caught by Rafael Garcia Perez Abisea .
In the youth category the winners were Jaime Fernández and Nino Federlin .

The 90 participating anglers caught during the first tournament day 65 fish with a total weight of 129 kilo.
On Saturday , there were caught 66 fish with a total weight of 149 kilo.

The prize giving was held in Lanis Grill Restaurant in Marina Rubicon and was attended by 140 anglers .
Among them also the sponsors of the tournament , including employees of Rubicon harbor , Capitán Marítimo of Arrecife , Juan Carlos Olave and many others .
